Inclement Weather Policy

History

 St. Matthew's Parish Day School was founded in 1955 and has been in operation since that time. The school opened its doors with a kindergarten and a 4 year old nursery class. During the 1960's the school added a class for 3 year olds and eventually began a program for 2 year olds. During the 1980's the Day Care program was added to care for those children enrolled in our classes who needed before and after care. The school is part of our church program but is not limited to parishioners or Episcopalians and children of all faiths and denominations have graduated from our program over the last 49 years. The staff is the mainstay of the program and the school has been blessed with a wonderful group of teachers and aides who are truly dedicated to their professions. Visitors are always welcome and we encourage you to visit us and to see our program in action.
