The program in the day school is set up to meet the total needs of the child in his environment. Some of the activities include:

Controlling body skills large and small muscle development through painting,
pasting, cutting, use of puzzles and outdoor equipment, games.

2. |
Learning more about the environment and our relationship to it field trips;
guest speakers (National park Service, telephone company, police department, etc.) -
discuss weather, seasons and holidays.

3. |
Growing socially Learning to work in a small group, sharing with other children,
communicating with adults and peers, becoming somewhat independent of family.

4. |
Learning basic skills to prepare a child for school working with numbers and number
concepts, colors, the alphabet (recognition and sounds), writing names. Kindergarten
expands these skills and includes reading readiness and math skills.

Creative experiences provided through science, blocks, dramatic play, music, cooking,
sand and water play.

6. |
Helping children learn to express themselves and verbalize emotions. "Tell him you
dont like that", "Tell me what you want."

Developing an awareness of God and Church through brief weekly worship services
held in the Church and conducted by the Rector with class participation.

Adding to physical and verbal abilities through music, developing rhythm through
exercises and singing.
